Using an FTP Client
Where can I find a Mac FTP Client?
You can download many different types of FTP clients for Mac's at www.downloads.com. We recomend using the program called "Fetch". There are many other downloads on this page if you want to look at them and see what is easiest for you. The rest of this page will explain how to use the program "Fetch". If you decide to go with another FTP program and need to learn how to use it, you can read the help file that will be included with your dowloaded program.

File Transfer
The most important job of an FTP client is to move files, and Fetch makes this as easy as pressing the "Put..." and "Get..." buttons, or simply dragging file icons between Fetch and the Finder. You can transfer not only files, but entire folders and directories, with a single command. Fetch includes support for more file formats than any other FTP client, and includes sophisticated logic to automatically select the right format or transfer mode. Fetch even lets you transfer files and directories directly between two servers, simply by dragging the icons from one to the other. Fetch was the first Mac FTP client to support resuming downloads, and now in version 4.0 that functionality is available even if you have quit Fetch or your computer has crashed in mid-transfer.
Compatibility
Fetch is compatible with a wide range of FTP servers, from mainframes and high-end servers to Macintosh and Windows computers, and even servers embedded in prepress, image processing, and medical imaging systems.

HOW TO USE THE FTP CLIENT:
Each FTP program is a bit different, so you will have to read the documentation
(or go to the help file) that comes with the program. But virtually all programs
use a variation of drag and drop.
Once you make a connection to our site, your program should open a new window that displays the contents of your folder on the FTP site.
To transfer your file, you just click and drag it from the folder on your computer that the file is stored in and drop the file into the open window on the FTP site.
To upload a file to us, all you have to do is click and drag the file from the window on the left (the one with the BLUE type) to the Fetch window on the right (the one with the RED type).
